Nearly 30 years ago when I opened Gatehouse Realty, I wanted to build a real estate company with a high level of service and strong commitment to my valued clients. I believe that at the heart of any successful business is its honesty, integrity, sincerity and fairness to all. I have continued to provide this highest quality of service throughout the years.

In 1995, I turned over the office operations to my son, Tom. This change allowed me to work with my own clients without the distractions of managing an office. My greatest enjoyment is working directly with people interested in buying and selling real estate.

My Son, Thomas P. Finn; my daughter-in-law, Karen Wenger Finn; and my daughter, Eileen Finn Melsenti, have continued to deliver service to our clients based upon my tradition. Because of this, William Raveis approached Karen & Tom and offered Gatehouse Realty an opportunity to merge with William Raveis Real Estate & Home Services. Effective November 18, 1999, we are pleased to be identified as "The Gatehouse Group" of William Raveis Real Estate, Inc.

As a result of this merger, we will have many innovative marketing tools and services available to you, to service you better. These services include the "Home Service Center" and the "Personal Move Coordinator". Both of these innovative services add tremendous value to our clients. In addition, we will continue to maintain our website, www.gatehouse.com, as a direct link with our customers and prospects.

Information Technology is rapidly reshaping the real estate industry with e-mail, the internet, & TV home shows. As Connecticut’s largest Real Estate Company, William Raveis Real Estate has the technology and other resources to deliver quality services in this NEW age of real estate.

With the strength of William Raveis Real Estate’s services, we expect to be able to expand the depth of our service to you and look forward to continuing our tradition. We will continue to specialize in the Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Westport & Wilton communities.
